Mari Wiles, Minister to the University at Chowan University, will be the guest speaker on Sunday, January 29th, at our annual WMU Focus service. Ms. Wiles will speak to the contibution of women in missions, and draw on her own experience leading mission trips with college students at Chowan.
Mari has spoken in our church before, and is a last-minute replacement for Ruby Fulbright, Executive Director of WMU-NC, who has had to cancel her commitment due to illness. We appreciate Ms. Wiles stepping in on short notice.
The WMU Focus service turns a spotlight on the ministry of women in our church, particularly the women of our WMU circles. Following the service, in the church fellowship hall, the Baptist Men will host their third annual Chili Cookoff, with the proceeds going to support on-going mission endeavors in our community. |

The study and accompanying book will help us learn to establish clear personal boundaries in order to build a healthy Christian lifestyle.
The group meets during the mission hour each Wednesday evening, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., in Room 3. |
