Moyock Baptist Church is a self-governing body of believers. Our church covenant calls on us to be "an agent of evangelism and ministry in our community and around the world."

    Keeping that promise requires that we partner with other believers to join in what God wants done in our world. We relate with other Baptists and with other Christians in voluntary and cooperative relationships.

    We are members of the Chowan Baptist Association, a group of 67 churches in ten counties in northeastern North Carolina.

    We are also affiliated with the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina. The convention embraces almost 4,000 Baptist churches across our state. The Biblical Recorder is the official newspaper of North Carolina Baptists.

    We are also affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, which is composed of almost 40,000 churches in every state and territory.

    For special projects, we have worked with churches affiliated with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, and with local congregations of other denominations.
