Throughout the year, we receive several missions offering to support missionaries and their work at home and around the world.

February - NC Older Adult Offering

    This offering underwrites the ministry of the NC Baptist Retirement Homes, especially their care for older adults who lack sufficient financial resources to provide for themselves in a retirement home setting.

Easter - Annie Armstrong Offering for North American Missions

    The Annie Armstrong Offering supports "home missionaries", those serving in the United States and Canada, through the Southern Baptist Convention's North American Missions Board.

May - NC Baptist Hospital Offering

    The Mother's Day offering helps underwrite benevolent care at the Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC.

June (VBS) - Mission Trip Support

    This offering is used to purchase construction materials and other supplies used on our summer mission trip. The VBS mission offering is also used for this purpose.

Summer - Operation Inasmuch

    Throughout the summer, we receive gifts that are used in our own community as part of our Operation Inasmuch project, as well as other handyman, home repair projects undertaken throughout the year by our Baptist Men.

August - Associational Mission Offering

    This offering supports the work of the Chowan Baptist Association, serving the people and churches of the ten-county northeastern North Carolina region.

September - NC Missions Offering

    The state missions offering underwrites the work of NC Baptist Men, NC Women's Missionary Union, and other missions endeavors of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina.

November - NC Baptist Children's Homes "Mile of Pennies"

    In November, we receive an offering that helps support the ministry of the NC Baptist Children's Homes. The offering's unique name, "Mile of Pennies", is taken from the offering's goal, a mile of pennies laid side by side, which is, $844.80.

Christmas - Lottie Moon Christmas Offering

    The Lottie Moon Offering is used to support the work of SBC missionaries serving overseas, under the auspices of the International Missions Board.
