Sunday School Classes and Teachers Preschool 1 is the place for infants and toddlers, under two years of age. The group meets in the Nursery, and is led by Sparkle Beers. Preschool 2 meets in the preschool suite, across from the fellowship hall. Connie Harrelson, Patti Beatty, and Teresa Sawyer work with preschoolers and kindergarten students. Children 1 is led by Theresa Knight and Carry Dover. The class, for 1st and 2nd graders, meets in Room 2 of the education wing. Children 2 is the place for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. These children are taught by Meta Lowe and Marj Gallimore. Children 2 meets in Room 6 in the education wing. Youth are taught by Judy Ramsey. This class, for middle and high school youth, meets in the fellowship hall. Twenty-Something is the class for young adults and college students. Class members are generally single, either in college, in the military, or in the work force. The class is taught by our pastor, Vic Ramsey, and meets in the fellowship hall. The Young Adults Class is composed of adults, married and single, in the early stages of their family formation. Adults with children in the preschool or elementary years find their place in the Young Adults Class. Becky Hereford teaches this class, which meets in the fellowship hall. The New Families Class meets the needs of median adults, whose children are teenagers and beyond. The class is taught by Lisa Rose, and meets in the fellowship hall. The Hank Coppersmith class is composed of mature adults, most of whom are "empty-nesters". The class meets in Room 1 of the education wing, and is taught by Sheila Romm. The Faith Bible Class is the place for senior adults. Jo West teaches this group, and the class meets in Room 3 of the education wing. |
